Who is UDI Africa?
UDI Africa is a business development consulting firm and a B2B event producer based in Rabat, Morocco. The name UDI stands for "Your Development in Africa". The company was founded by Thomas Idoux and Imane Chafiq El Idrissi.
UDI Africa runs three complementary activities: consulting and market-entry support in Africa (market research, sourcing, entity creation), corporate event organisation (launches, training, learning expeditions), and the production of international events and summits, funded and executed end to end.
UDI Africa is based in Morocco, where it carries out most of its market-entry work. It has also delivered projects in Senegal (the RENEWPAC summit in Dakar) and is preparing a summit in Mauritania. We also operate in more than fifteen countries across Africa, the Maghreb and the Middle East.
Documented projects include the RENEWPAC international summit in Dakar (500+ delegates, attended by President Macky Sall), a JICA training programme for 80 trainees in Morocco, the Greentourism event with SMIT in Ifrane, and the KARAMAH 2026 international summit held in Fès in June 2026 (150 delegates). More than 500 delegates gathered at a single summit (RENEWPAC), 150 delegates at the KARAMAH 2026 summit in Fès, 80 trainees supported through a month-long training programme (JICA), and five years of continuous operations across the African continent.
